Not a poet am I endowed
Yet an unbridled urge for verses
Mourns and cries out loud
For tears can't soak up my condolences

Born a pious atheist, a disciple of none
Yet in Paradise I now believe
A heavenly miracle has just begun
All deceased'll resurrect and re-live

Mother Earth perseveres and survives
China's spine, cracked yet unbent
Heals slowly, revives and thrives
That's Father Heaven's intent

A double-edged sword called calamity
That shatters the weak-minded
Sharpens virtues and humanity
In God we trust, get united

腹無詩書卻為文，
狂歌當哭悼川魂。
淚眼難滌錐心血，
哀思聊寄透紙情。

生來何事信鬼神，
卻願天國佑蒼生。
亡靈縱逝魂猶在，
浴火鳳凰唯升騰。

山河破碎任浮沉，
劫難幾曾撼國魂。
天道殷勤應助我，
千年華夏運綿恒。

禍福自古一線分，
何效懦夫共沾巾。
人生自古誰無死，
共留丹心笑汗青。
