( 2011-06-24 )

You have just arrived in Winnipeg. No one has told you how cold it can be. You soon find out that it is -40℃. You know you must get some warmer clothing quickly. You go to a department store at once and find a nice down-filled jacket.  You look into your wallet and find that you do not have enough cash to pay for it. Luckily, you do have your traveller's cheques with you.
A: I want to buy this down-filled jacket, but I don't have enough cash with me. Will you accept traveller's cheques?
B: Certainly. Do you have Canadian or American cheques?
      A: Canadian.
B: That's fine. Do you have your passport with you?
      A: Yes, here it is.
B: Thanks. Would you please sign your cheque and fill in the date?
      A: There. I've signed it.
B: Thank you. Here's your change and receipt. Let me wrap up the jacket for you.
A: You don't have to wrap it, because I'm going to wear it right now!
