You have just bought a microwave oven, and want to try it out right away. When you turn it on, you hear that it is making a lot of noise and the switch does not work properly. Fortunately, you have kept the receipt, so you take it back to the appliance store and go to the Customer Service Counter.
A: Is there something I can do for you?
B: I'd like to return this microwave oven please.
A: What seems to be wrong with it?
B: It makes a lot of noise and the switch doesn't work properly.
A: Would you like to exchange it, or do you want a refund?
B: I'm not sure. This one was a demo. Can I still exchange it for a new one?
A: Sorry, this model is out of stock and we've discontinued carrying it.
B: Can you order it for me?
A: No, Im sorry we can't.
B: I'll take the refund then.
A: May I have your sales slip please?
B: Here's my receipt.
A: Please sign your name and put your address and phone number here, and I'll refund your money.
B: Thanks.
你剛買了一個微波爐，想立即試用。在用的時候，微波爐發出很多噪音，同時開關也不能正常運作。幸好你仍保留收據，於是便帶同收據到電器行的顧客服務部去。

乙：那麼我便取回退款吧。

Language Notes語文註解：
(1) Is there something I can do for you?——有什麼可以為你做呢？另兩句意思相同的用語是What can I dofor you? 或 May I help you?
(2) I'd like to (=I would like to)——意思和 I want to 差不多，不過語氣比較客氣。

(5) To exchange——交換。

(7) Demo——Demo是 demonstration unit的簡寫，解陳列的貨品。
