      Rapper (n.說唱歌手) Jay-Z and soul (n.騷靈) star John Legend also picked up (v.摘下) three awards apiece (adv.每人).
      Jay-Z's haul (n.收穫) included two trophies (n.獎座) for Empire State of Mind, his duet (n.合唱) with Alicia Keys, while Legend was rewarded for his collaboration (n.合作) with hip-hop (n.嘻哈) group The Roots.
      Eminem led the field (n.領域) going into the ceremony, with 10 nominations (n.提名). But the star picked up just two awards - best rap album for Recovery and best rap solo performance for Not Afraid.(BBC, February 14)
