"What is the meaning (n.意義) of life?", "Is there a God (n.上帝)?" and even "Do blondes (n.金髮女郎) have more fun?" - these are apparently (adv.看來) the world's trickiest (adj.最棘手的) questions.
      Internet (n.互聯網) search engine (n.搜尋器) Ask Jeeves has compiled (v.編纂) what it called a top 10 of "unanswerables (n.無法解答的問題)" in the past decade (n.十年).
      The list is based on some 1.1 billion (n.十億) queries (n.查詢) made on the site (n.網站) since its launch (n.成立) in 2000.
      Other weighty (adj.重大的) issues (n.課題) include mortality (n.道德), love and fame (n.名聲).
      Jeeves' unanswerables are: 1. What is the meaning of life? 2. Is there a God? 3. Do blondes have more fun? 4. What is the best diet (n.飲食方式)? 5. Is there anybody out there? 6. Who is the most famous person in the world? 7. What is love? 8. What is the secret (n.秘訣) to happiness (n.幸福)? 9. Did Tony Soprano (n.一名電視劇角色) die? 10. How long will I live?
      The site also said it was launching (v.開設) an "unanswerables" page to help people shed light on (v.使進一步了解) some of the most tricky questions.
      Since its launch Ask Jeeves - with its trademark (n.商標) butler (n.男管家) - has been struggling against more popular search engines, such as Google (n.谷歌).
