Your family has just moved into a neighbourhood where there are several schools. You call the School Board to enquire which of these schools your children can attend.
      A: City School Board. Mrs White speaking. May I help you?
      B: Yes. We've just come from Malaysia. We're landed immigrants and are living in our new home at 808 Collingham Street. Will our children be able to go to the schools near our home?
      A: How old are they, and what grades were they in before they came here?
      B: Susa'n is 9, and she was in primary four. Henry is 16 and was in form four.
      A: That's probably grades 4 and 10.
      B: Will they be able to attend the same school? 
      A: No, Susan can go to Rosemary Elementary, which is close to your home. Henry can go to Calvin Secondary, which is also nearby.
      B: When can they begin?
      A: You can take them to their schools to see their principals before enrolling. Please make sure you bring along their immigration papers for registration.
