The general rule regarding agreement is very simple: a singular subject requiresd a singular verb and a plural subject requires a plural verb, e.g.
(有關主詞與動詞之間的關係很簡單:單數的主詞需要單數的動詞;而複數的主詞需要複數的動詞,例如:)
I am a student.
You and I are friends.
Several boys are playing in the park.
But sometimes it may not be easy to tell whether a subject is singular or plural. See if you can complete the following sentences by choosing the correct word.
